Make Up Revolution London Redemption Palette Iconic 3 Review

Make Up Revolution London Redemption Palette Iconic 3 Review
Hello everyone, today I am reviewing the Make Up Revolution London Redemption Palette Iconic 3.I ordered this palette from Jabong when they were giving a 50%discount on all their stuff.

You can buy Make up Revolution stuff from their official website also and they ship to India at a very nominal shipping price and if your amount exceeds a certain price they give you free shipping.I checked out their website and they have amazing stuff and all of the products are pretty reasonably priced,so if anyone is interested do check out their website and they usually have some or the other cool offers going on,they give free stuff with the purchases so do have a look.

So coming back to the review the Iconic 3 Palette is a 12 shade eyeshadow palette with 3 matte shadows and 9 shimmer eye shadows.I think this palette is considered to be a dupe of the Urban Decay Naked Palette3 but it is way way too cheap as compared to the Naked 3 and I don’t think it is even appropriate to compare both of them because of the huge price difference.

Price of the Make up Revolution London Redemption Iconic 3Palette:Actually it is for Rs.1200 but I got it for Rs.600.

Ingredients of the Make up Revolution London Redemption Iconic 3 Palette:

Packaging of the Make up Revolution London Redemption Iconic 3 Palette:It comes in a sturdy, rectangular sleek plastic packaging with a transparent lid.I pretty much like the packaging but there should have been a mirror inside it,but nevertheless,I quiet like it.It has a double side sponge applicator inside it,which like all sponge applicators is useless.

Swatch of the Make up Revolution London Redemption Iconic Palette 3:

My experince with the Make up Revolution London Redemption Iconic Palette 3:
This palette is a mixture of matte, pearl and shimmer eye shadows. The shades do not have their names mentioned on the packaging so I will number them as 1-12.
Let’s start reviewing the colours of this palette:
1.The first shade is a very pale cream matte eye shadow, perfect for a base or for highlighting your brow bone or the inner corner of the eye.
2.The second shade is a very light pale pink shimmery eye shadow.Nice colour for the lid.
3.The third shade is a very light colour, sort of a nuidish pinkish brown shade.
4.The fourth shade is a matte pink beige nude colour eyeshadow.
5.The fifth shade is a very pretty shimmery rose gold shade.I wear it all over my lid and it looks so pretty.
6.The sixth shade is a shimmery coppery shade.

7.The seventh shade is a matte shadow. It is a very chocolate brown sort of a eyeshadow.
8.The eighth shade is a metallic brown shade.
9.The ninth shade is a dark metallic brown eyeshadow, perfect for the outer V to create a smokey eye.
10.The tenth eyeshadow is a shimmery brown colour but a shade lighter than the 9th shade in this palette.
11.The 11th shade is a deep brown colour with a hint of black in it,it is the colour for the outer V.
12.The 12th colour is the darkest in the palette and it is a purplish, burgundy sort of colour with lots of shimmer in it.

The shade collection in this palette is really nice, they have kept a nice blend of every shade that is needed for the perfect eye make up.I apply a eye shadow base before applying these eye shadows because if I do not apply a base underneath them the colour does not show off that much means I do not get the intense colour of the eyeshadow.

Another problem with these eyeshadows is that most of the colours have a fall out so I apply loose powder under my eyes before I do my eye make up.I think all of the shimmery shadows are chalky and they fall out while applying so if I do not apply loose powder under my eyes the colour fall out ruins my foundation. These days when I use this palette I usually do my eye make up first and after that I apply my foundation and concealer so the colour fall out does not bother me that much.

The staying power of the colours is pretty good.My lids are not oily so they stay on my lid for a good 4-5 hours without fading.I always apply a setting spray after doing my make up so these shadows stay on for 5 hours or so.I really like this palette because firstly it is so affordable, secondly it is a perfect mix and match of colours, thirdly the staying power is good and lastly I just love sleek looking palettes like these ones.
Pros of the Make up Revolution London Redemption Iconic Palette 3:
1.Very affordable.
2.A nice blend of colours.
3.Dupe of the Urban Decay Naked 3.
4.Sturdy packaging.
5.Travel friendly.
Cons of the Make up Revolution London Redemption Iconic Palette 3:
1.It contains parabens.
2.The colour have a fall out.
Scale of 1-10:I would give it a 8.
Pass or Fail:Definitely a PASS.

I will definitely purchase some more stuff from Make up Revolution. It is so afforbable and the products are really worth trying out and for this price it is a great deal.
I cannot compare it to Urban Decay’s palette because firstly I don’t have the NAKED 3 palette and secondly because it is not fair to compare them because of the huge price difference but I think this Make Up Revolution palette 3 does a fairly nice job andit is great product for almost everyone and specially for those who are just starting their make up journey means for beginners, they will love it.
Do try out the palettes and share your experiences.Until then, stay blessed.
