Vichy Aqualia Thermal Spa Oil In Water Essence Review

Hello Everyone,

Today I will be reviewing one of my most favourite products of 2019 i.e. Vichy Aqualia Thermal Spa Oil In Water Essence. I picked it up in January this year from Nykaa during their sale and I must admit that I am in love with it.

Product Description of the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Spa Oil In Water Essence:

Formulated with pH Balancing Water and Natural Oils, the Oil-In-Water essence helps repair skin’s moisture barrier by “locking” moisture in the skin and provides SPA level hydration repair.

Inspired by the composition of hydrolipidic film (squalene, Vitamin E and hyaluronic acid), oil-in-water essence is charged with Vichy PH balancing thermal water from French volcanoes to reinforce the skin’s natural barrier.
Repaired and better protected, the skin locks in long-lasting hydration. It really has a watery healthy radiance and a bouncy texture.

Oil and water co-exist in harmony in the skin in the form of hydro-lipidic film maintaining an equilibrium fighting free radicals and dehydration. This non-greasy, light weight essence is formulated to travel deepest into the skin, making the skin appear more luminous and radiant looking. Availability of the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Spa Oil In Water Essence:

I picked it up from Nykaa but you can also get it from Amazon.in

Price of the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Spa Oil In Water Essence:

The product costs Rs.4000 for 100ml but I got it for Rs.2200, I guess.

My Experience with the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Spa Oil In Water Essence:

The Vichy Aqualia Thermal Spa Oil In Water Essence comes in a very shiny cardboard teal royal blue colour packaging with all the details about the product mentioned on the outer cardboard box. The Essence comes in a very chic, classy and luxurious tall cylindrical glass bottle with a shiny silver screw cap. The bottle is quiet heavy as it is a glass bottle and it looks very bougie. The bottle has a blue ombre color effect on it which looks so cool and soothing. If I were to rate the product just on the packaging I would give it a full 10/10. The glass bottle looks very nice on my vanity and it sort of goes very well with my all white vanity.

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Spa Oil In Water Essence Review

The Vichy Aqualia Thermal Spa Oil In Water Essence has almost water like consistency with little specs of oil in it which makes the essence very hydrating and nourishing for my dry skin. The essence has a very mild, soothing and feminine smell to it which is very relaxing . This is the type of smell I want all my skin care products to have but off lately I have tried products that have failed badly in the fragrance prospective. I don’t understand why can’t brands add soothing and refreshing fragrance to their products, why do products have to have such loud and overpowering smell. The Vichy Aqualia Thermal Spa Oil In Water Essence is certainly one of the best smelling skincare products that I have used till date.

As the brand claims the Essence is formulated with pH balancing water and natural oils and it helps in repairing the skin’s natural moisture barrier by locking the moisture in the skin. The Essence has squalene, Vitamin E and Hyaluronic acid and is charged with pH balancing thermal water from the French Volcano to reinforce the skin’s natural barrier.

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Spa Oil In Water Essence Review

The Essence is packed with all the good ingredients that are required for a healthy and glowing skin. I have been using the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Spa Oil In Water Essence for the past two months now and I must say that this product has been a savior for my skin during this scorching summer months.

I like to keep my serums, my Essence and my Hyaluronic acids in the fridge during the summer months so that I can apply them chilled to soothe my skin.  After cleansing and toning my face I take around 3-4 drops of the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Spa Oil In Water Essence on my palm and I just splash it all over my face and neck. It has a very soothing, weightless, watery texture to it which hydrates my dry skin without any signs of greasiness. It sinks into my skin within a few seconds and plumps up my skin and makes it soft and supple. The Essence has Hyaluronic acid as one of the main ingredients so it helps to keep my skin hydrated and provides it enough nourishment. I have extremely dry skin and I like to layer products like serums, a hydrating face cream and face oils to take away that dry parched feeling but from the past two months I have been using just the Vichy Essence and it takes care of all the dryness of my face. I straight away apply my sunscreen and I am good to go. I have not used any face oil or any face cream for the past two months and I can say that my skin has never felt so good. It gives my face a very dewy natural glow from within which I absolutely love.

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Spa Oil In Water Essence Review

I can see my face looks a lot more bright, clear and it looks hydrated even in such hot conditions, all thanks to the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Spa Oil In Water Essence. It feels so light on the skin, I do not need to slap on 10 different kinds of products on my face, I just apply the Essence, top it up with a good sunscreen and I am done for the day.

At night I cleanse my face with my powder face cleanser, apply a cooling cucumber toner, top it up with the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Spa Oil In Water Essence and I am done. I don’t feel the need to apply any night cream because the Essence does its job so well. In the morning I wake up with glowing and plumped up skin. This Essence works like magic for my dry skin. I think this is going to suit all skin types as it is very light weight and has been specially tested on sensitive skin also.

One bottle will easily last you six months even if you apply it twice a day. I still have more than half of the product left. The Vichy Aqualia Thermal Spa Oil In Water Essence has been my most used and most loved product this year and I am totally loving the natural glow that it has given to my skin. If you want to splurge on your skin care products I would highly recommend you guys to try out the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Spa Oil In Water Essence, you are going to love it to bits.
