The Derma Co. is one such brand that is gaining a lot of popularity these days. I have seen a lot of bloggers and Youtubers rave about this brand recently and everyone has a lot of good things to say about this brand. The Derma Co is a brand that has been formulated by dermatologist after years of research. They have minimalist but potent ingredients in their products which are highly effective in tackling various skin and hair conditions. Having heard all the good things about the brand I was really intrigued to try out some of their products. The Derma Co. has a wide variety of hair care and skin care products at a very affordable price. I decided to try out two of their products which were suggested to me by one of my fellow bloggers. I ordered the Derma Co. AHA BHA Foaming cleanser and their 20% Vitamin C serum. One thing that I wanted to point out regarding this brand is their super fast delivery. In this pandemic situation when brands are taking 10-12 days to deliver orders The Derma Co. delivered their order within 2 days. I was highly impressed with their prompt and super fast delivery. I have been using both of their products for the last 20 days and I am highly impressed. Sp lets start with the review of the AHA BHA Foaming Cleanser.

HOW TO USE?
- Take out a small amount and massage onto wet skin (twice a day) in a gentle upward circular motion.
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and gently pat dry.

- In the evening/night, use the cleanser followed by The Derma Co. treatment product and then moisturizer.
Salicylic and Glycolic Acid in the formula slough away dead skin cells to reveal younger and healthier skin. Mandelic Acid treats roughness and evens out skin tone. Both AHAs and BHAs are acids that exfoliate the skin. AHA comes in the form of glycolic acid and is water-soluble. It helps remedy anti-aging, pigmentation, acne scarring and other surface-level skin concerns. BHA, on the other hand, is a form of salicylic acid that penetrates deeper into the skin. It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and is excellent for treating acne-prone skin. My Experience with the The Derma Co. AHA BHA Foaming Cleanser:
The Derma Co. AHA BHA Foaming Cleanser comes in a white and blue sturdy cardboard packaging with all the details about the product mentioned on the packaging itself. The foaming face wash comes in a very sturdy and high quality cylindrical plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The packaging of the face wash feels very high quality and the plastic packaging does not feel flimsy at all. The pump dispenser comes in very handy as it helps to dispense the right amount of product every time. There is no wastage of the product whatsoever. You just need half a pump of the foaming face cleanser to cleanse your face properly.
The Derma Co. AHA BHA Foaming Cleanser is a very light weight foaming face cleanser which cleanses your skin perfectly without leaving any traces of oil or dirt on your face. It deeply cleanses your skin without stripping the skin of its natural oils. I have been using this cleanser for the last 20 days I am totally in love with it. It is very mild on the skin, does not have any weird chemical smell to it, gently cleanses the skin, mildly exfoliates the skin due to the presence of various active ingredients in it, deeply cleanses the pores, maintains the ph level of the skin, what else do you want a face wash to do. I use this twice a day, I take half a pump of the cleanser and apply it all over my face. After application I massage it into my skin my skin for a minute and then I wash it off with lukewarm water. The cleanser deeply cleanses the skin in just one go and leaves the skin squeaky clean.
This is the first time that I have been using a foaming face cleanser and I am really liking this concept of foaming face cleansers. I feel they are much more milder or the skin than the usual face cleansers. It is very gentle on the skin and is highly effective in sloughing away the dead skin eventually leading to clear, bright and acne free skin. The Derma Co. AHA BHA Foaming Cleanser has clinically proven active ingredients like mandelic acid, glycolic acid and salicylic acid which helps to shed away dead skin and also helps in brightening the complexion. The best part is that it is dermatologically tested and is safe to use for all skin types. Salicylic acid belongs to a class of drugs known as salicylates. When applied to the skin, salicylic acid works by helping the skin to shed dead cells from the top layer and by decreasing redness and swelling (inflammation). This decreases the number of pimples that speeds healing. The face cleanser also contains glycolic acid, when applied to the skin, glycolic acid works to break the bonds between the outer layer of skin cells, including dead skin cells, and the next skin cell layer. Benefit of glycolic acid is that the peeling effects results in less “gunk” that clogs the pores. With less to clog the pores, the skin clears and you usually have fewer breakouts.
Also, glycolic acid can affect the outer skin barrier, helping it retain moisture instead of drying your skin out. Using skin care products containing mandelic acid help regulate sebum production, unclog pores, and reduce inflammation. This can result in fewer acne breakouts. So this face cleanser will also help in reducing acne and pimples due to the presence of various actives in it. I do not have acne prone skin so I really cannot comment on this aspect but after looking at the ingredient list and after reading a lot of reviews online I can definitely vouch for its efficacy.
The Derma Co. AHA BHA Foaming Cleanser has become one of my favourite face cleanser and this one is definitely going to be in my skin care stash till I find a better replacement to this one. It sloughs off dead skin, makes my skin much more smother and softer, brightens up the complexion, removes dirt and gunk from the pores and mildly exfoliates the skin too.
