I picked up the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Daily Intensive Serum Essence just because of the packaging of this product. I am one of those individuals who picks up products solely because of their packaging and if the product shows great results that is an added bonus for me. L’Oreal has really put a lot of efforts into the packaging of their newly launched products and it is really nice to see a brand work not only on their formulations but also on the outer appearance of its products. So I picked up this serum because of it’s classy and chic packaging but after using it for over a month now I can say my skin is loving this formulation. My Experience with the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Daily Intensive Serum Essence:
The L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Daily Intensive Serum Essence comes in a red and white cardboard packaging with all the details about the product mentioned on the packaging itself. The serum comes in a red and white ombre very heavy glass bottle. The packaging feels very luxurious and classy. I seriously picked up this product just for the packaging. This long red glass dropper bottle looks so chic and aesthetically pleasing on my white vanity. So full marks to L’Oreal for their classy packaging. The serum is whitish in colour and has a slightly thicker consistency as compared to water. It has a slight slimy texture to it but it does not feel heavy or sticky on my skin whatsoever. It is very lightweight in texture and it gets absorbed into the skin within seconds of application.
I usually apply 5-6 drops of the Paris Revitalift Daily Intensive Serum Essence on my cleansed and toned face in my AM routine. I follow it up with my Indulgeo Rose Gold Oil and The Regaliaz Truderma Sunscreen. The serum gets absorbed into my skin and plumps up my dry and dehydrated skin within seconds of application. This serum also works as a great makeup primer as it helps the foundation to adhere to the skin and leaves no dry patches. It instantly makes my skin look so glowing and hydrated during this chilly winter months. I have been using it for the past one month and I am really liking how this serum makes my skin look post application. It has definitely evened out my complexion and makes my skin look really luminous and glowing.
The Paris Revitalift Daily Intensive Serum Essence has Centella Asiatica which strengthens skin’s barrier to resist visible signs of ageing. I picked up this serum because it has Pro-Retinol A as one of its main ingredients. Pro- Retinol A stimulates cell renewal to thicken the epidermis and reduces wrinkles. It also has dermafit technology which helps to retighten the skin. As the company claims this is an anti-aging serum so it will reduce fine lines and wrinkles with continuous usage. I have used this serum for around a month which is not enough to comment on whether this product works on fading off fine lines or wrinkles or not or will it tighten the skin or not. I think I need to use one more bottle of this serum to actually see its anti aging results. As of now it hasn’t worked on reducing my fine lines at all but it has certainly evened out my complexion and has gives my skin that luminuous healthy glow which my skin had been lacking for so long.
I am pretty satisfied with the Paris Revitalift Daily Intensive Serum Essence. It is really moisturizing and makes my skin look very healthy and glowing post usage.
